It has been a year and a half (7.12.14) since our wedding and we are ecstatic for what is in store for us. The wedding planning process ignited our desire to share our designs with the world. We took pride in designing every aspect our wedding. However, we craved to design more and challenged each other to take our collaborative efforts to the next level. We truly wanted our wedding to be very DIY, or do it yourself and never imagined that our art would continue to grow. Even though I had no idea how Justin and I pulled off a destination wedding in the middle of nowhere, I am extremely happy how every played out on that special day. Justin designed the tie and we designed the fabric invitation.
A collaborative effort for a logo on a flag and matching button by Justin and me. Everyone had a flag at their seat during the ceremony to wave as people walked down the aisle. I watercolored thick paper and wrote everyone's name in a caligraphy-type font.
Of course, our first look entailed a selfie.
The Chuppah includes a tablecloth from my grandma and borrowed sticks from our friend's wedding.

The interactive guestbook entertained our guests.
For our guestbook, we had our guests replace their water-colored placecards (done by me) with snapshots wishing us words of wisdom. We were creative and use a rose fence to hold up all the placecards and photographs.
The gold numbers along with the gold dotted burlap runners added to the amazing meal.
I purchased some vintage kerchiefs and stamped the words "BRIDE" AND "GROOM."
The meticulous setting for every table included various flower arrangements.
We absolutely had to have these flags in the flower arrangements. Many of the vases for flowers were recycled cans, recycled bottles from kombucha Justin and I drank, and thrifted drinkware.
We used compostable flatware and wrapped it in velvet ribbon. We then placed it in a hand-stamped paper bag to make it more personalized. The parting gift included honey local to the area prepared by me.
